Today we’re celebrating Harpreet, who has officially reached her 2-year anniversary with AMIGA Montessori!

Over the past two years, Harpreet has become a valued member of our Maddingley team, contributing to the care, learning and development of the children within our community.

Every day in early childhood brings something different, and we appreciate the care, commitment and dedication Harpreet brings to her role as an educator and to our children and families.

Celebrating 3 Years — Congratulations, Sharan!

Today we are celebrating a very special milestone as Sharan marks 3 years with AMIGA Montessori!

Over the past three years, Sharan has been a valued part of our Maddingley team, contributing to the care, learning and development of the children within our community.

Three years represents so many days of welcoming children, supporting families, working alongside colleagues and being part of the everyday moments that make our centre what it is.

One of the beautiful things about Montessori education is having the opportunity to observe children closely and respond to where their curiosity takes them.

Our outdoor environments give children opportunities to explore, investigate, move their bodies and connect with the natural world around them.

“I can do it.”

They may be four little words, but they represent something very important in a child’s development.

Throughout our day at AMIGA Montessori Maddingley, children are given opportunities to try, practise, make choices and take increasing responsibility for themselves and their environment.

From pouring their own drink and putting away their belongings to completing a challenging activity, these seemingly small moments help children develop independence, confidence and pride in their abilities.

Sometimes the greatest learning happens when we give children the time and space to discover, “I can do it myself.”
