Great news — more FIRST LEGO League kits have arrived!

Our latest shipment of FIRST LEGO League Explore, Challenge and Future kits have arrived earlier than expected, meaning there’s still plenty of time to get involved in the 2026–2027 BIOGLOW season.

Explore: If you’ve been considering joining FIRST LEGO League Explore, now is a great time to get started. There is still plenty of time to register, receive your materials and take part in this season’s program.

Founders Edition (Challenge): For FIRST LEGO League Challenge teams, additional Challenge Sets are also now available. If your school or organisation originally held off purchasing an extra kit due to limited stock, you can now add one for an additional team, classroom or practice setup.

Future Edition: FIRST LEGO League Future Edition kits are also back in stock. If you’ve been considering this new Computer Science & AI-focused program, there is still plenty of time to register, receive your kit and get involved!

Teams are strongly encouraged to register and order as soon as possible through the FIRST Australia Dashboard or one of our LEGO Education distributors:

This year on July 9-12th, FIRST Australia was honoured to host 56 teams from 27 countries at the 2026 FIRST LEGO League Asia Pacific Open Championship!

After months of digging into the UNEARTHED season, these teams arrived ready to showcase everything they had worked towards. Over four exciting days, teams competed in intense robot games, shared their innovation projects, formed new alliances, and celebrated each other’s achievements.

APOC is more than just a competition — it's a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and collaboration, where each student has the opportunity to showcase exactly what it means to be a part of FIRST LEGO League. Congratulations teams!

A huge thank you to all the teams, coaches, mentors, volunteers, partners, families, and supporters who helped make FLL APOC 2026 an unforgettable experience!

It's been a few weeks but we still can't get over the thrill of FTC APOC 2026!

From 3-5th of July, 28 talented teams from five different countries convereged at Macquarie University for three days of intense competition. They strategised and adapted to meet the unique requirements of the modified game, and didn't forget to celebrate all of their achievements no matter how big or small.

These young innovators demonstrated what it means to be a part of FIRST Tech Challenge, competing with Coopertition and leading with Gracious Professionalism.

Here are a few of the standout achievements from this event:

The 2026 Duel Down Under (DDU) Rebuilt event was a great success over the two days, where teams fought it out to be a part of the winning alliance! It was great to see such big collaborations throughout the competition, with teams helping each other out and rookie students having a go at various roles within their team.
A huge thank you to Team 3132 , FIRST Australia and Barker College for helping give us the resources and help to run this year’s DDU.

We can’t wait to see what next year brings!

The Medtronic & Hatch FIRST Ladies Breakfast was once again a standout moment of the FIRST Robotics Competition Southern Cross Regional.

Bringing together students, mentors, engineers, and industry leaders, the breakfast created a powerful space to celebrate women in STEM and inspire the next generation of innovators.

A huge thank you to Medtronic and Hatch for their incredible support, and to our inspiring speakers for sharing their stories, insights, and pathways into STEM.

Moments like these remind us just how important representation, connection, and opportunity are in shaping the future.

What a way to finish the Southern Cross Regional.

The final Day brought intense action as it wrapped up, and the top 8 alliances battled it out for the top spot. The Crowd was on its feet, cheering on their favorite teams and creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

Congratulations to the winning alliance for their incredible teamwork and strategies throughout the playoffs.

The FRC Southern Cross Regional couldn’t have been higher on energy, excitement and thrills. The competition was fierce and the robots were electric as they battled it out to shoot, score and climb their way towards advancing to the 2026 FIRST Championships in Houston, Texas. Day 1 of the Southern Cross Regional was a great success. Teams got their robot out of the workshop and onto the field for the first time this year. It’s great to see all 42 teams competing.

The 2026 FIRST Robotics Competition Southern Cross Regional is almost here!

We are so excited to officially welcome all 42 of our competing teams - including 39 from across Australia, two from South Korea, and one from Chinese Taipei - to the Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre from 13 - 15 March. We can't wait to see the incredible innovation you’ve been working on!

Come down, catch the high-energy action, and cheer on these amazing students as they tackle the REBUILT℠ challenge. Entry is FREE for spectators, so bring the whole family and join the fun!
