Macquarie University Mentors is a peer support program that provides support and guidance to new students at Macquarie University. Mentors help new students navigate their first session at Macquarie, with a focus on the social, academic, geographical and administrative aspects of transitioning to university to help new students explore the opportunities available inside and outside the classroom.

Mentors are current student volunteers who provide a friendly face for new students when they first arrive on campus, and help them meet some new people through your peer group.

Your peer leaders and Peer mentors know it can be a very demanding time, so we have set up our week 12 community mentoring event which will be held next week Friday 27th May 2022. It would be a lovely chance to take a break from all your hard work and have a relaxing evening, chatting with friends and watching a movie. Are you currently participating in the Peer Mentor program and think you want to step it up to the next level and try your hand at becoming a Peer Mentor? Are you a current Peer Mentor and loved your time in the program so much that you are ready for round 2? Are you a student who has never heard of the Peer Mentoring Program but think it sounds great
and wants to be involved? Or maybe you are currently a Peer Mentor and you think you have what it takes to become one of our superstar Peer Leaders! If one of these sounds like you, then you should submit your application for the Peer Mentor Program for Session 2, 2022.
