When Bethany Seto first heard about Excelsia University College, it was through people she trusted – family members and teachers who had previously studied there. Their positive experiences left a strong impression, but what made Excelsia stand out to her was its Christian foundation. ‘As a committed Christian, this appealed to me,’ she explains. Beyond its spiritual focus, the music program itself captured Bethany’s attention. She was drawn to its structure and the opportunity to pursue a specific major, whether in jazz, classical, or contemporary music.

Bethany’s time at Excelsia was marked by growth, both musically and personally. She was deeply influenced by the kindness and encouragement of her teachers and peers. ‘The music students at Excelsia were never competitive. Rather, they encouraged and built each other up,’ she reflects.

Today, Bethany works as a piano teacher, performer and aged care entertainer. She finds joy in connecting with others through music, and she dreams of releasing an EP that reflects her journey and the voices that shaped it. Her heart remains open to new opportunities, creative growth and wherever her faith leads her next.
