🎭 Striving for Excellence in Creative and Performing Arts 🎶
This Public Education Week, we're celebrating the incredible journeys that begin in our classrooms.
Macquarie Fields High School alumna Awen Davidson has recently toured the United Kingdom as a member of the prestigious Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, performing at world-renowned venues including the Royal Albert Hall for the BBC Proms.
Awen's success reflects years of dedication, talent and perseverance, nurtured through the outstanding Creative and Performing Arts opportunities at Macquarie Fields High School and across NSW public education. From school choirs and ensembles to state music programs, her journey is a powerful example of what can be achieved when students are encouraged to pursue their passions.
We are incredibly proud of Awen and all she has accomplished. Her story is an inspiration to our current students as they continue to strive for excellence.

🌟 Leading, Mentoring and Inspiring the Next Generation 🌟
As part of Public Education Week and our theme of Striving for Excellence, we’re celebrating the leadership and mentorship of our Year 10 students from the Macquarie Fields High School Future Teachers Club.
Our Future Teachers recently visited Macquarie Fields Primary School to support their local Gala Day, taking on the role of coaches and mentors as they guided younger students through volleyball and a range of other sporting activities. 🏐🏃‍♀️🏆
Through their leadership, encouragement and passion for sport, our Year 10 students helped create a positive and inclusive experience for primary school students — inspiring them to get involved, have a go and strive for excellence.
A fantastic example of students leading by example, supporting their community and inspiring the next generation!

Are you organised for Jeans for Genes day tomorrow? It's time to get your outfit sorted. Who will be rockin' their double denim just like Daisy? Students are encouraged to bring a gold coin donation if they are wearing their jeans. Don't forget Fairy Bread will also be available to purchase at recess and lunch for just 50 cents. We are prouldy supporting the Children's Medical Reseach Institute. See you all tomorrow!

This week we proudly celebrate Public Education Week and the incredible opportunities, achievements and success stories that happen every day in NSW public schools.
At Macquarie Fields High School, we're proud to be part of a public education system that inspires every student to learn, grow and achieve their best.
As part of this year's celebrations, our Future Teachers Club (FTC) Executive has been working together to create and showcase content that highlights the many things that make our school community so special. Their creativity, teamwork and leadership have played an important role in celebrating public education and sharing what makes Macquarie Fields High School a great place to learn.
