🌿 With the world feeling increasingly uncertain, perhaps one of the most important things we can do is return to what matters most — our families, our connection to nature, and the communities that hold us.

Wild Village is more than a camp. It's an opportunity to slow down, step away from the busyness of everyday life, and remember the value of growing, learning and living alongside others.

A space where children can explore freely, families can feel supported, and meaningful connections can grow naturally around the fire, in the forest, and through shared experiences. ❤️‍🔥

Our September 2027 Wild Village Family Camp is now open exclusively to our waitlist, with family spots available for 27 September – 2 October 2027.

It is a 5 day experience working ancient survival skills as a powerful doorway into a deep “body felt” connection to nature.

We believe every child deserves nature-based free play — five digital-free days to explore, adventure and remember they're wild, with skilled mentors by their side. 🔥

Clay, fire making, swimming, bushcraft and stories by the fire.

Meanwhile the parents are learning to weave baskets, rub sticks together for fire, and nap in the shade before dinner (which someone else cooked!). Truly, a hardship. 😅

We believe we all belong to something bigger than "me" — a village of elders, parents, mentors, young people and children, held by the earth. 🌿

Barefoot kids, fire circles, singing and carving filled our days on Gumbaynggirr Country.

And officially, yes, it's a family camp for the kids. 😉 Unofficially… we've lost count of the parents quietly asking if they can stay another week.

Wow!! What a phenomenal Spring Wild Village. 🌿

These short videos and pics are just a fraction of the depth, joy, the challenge and transformation that we experience!!

We were welcomed in with a rain blessing to kick us off 🌧️… then gifted the most amazing weather for the rest of our time together on sacred Gumbaynggirr Country. ☀️

Something really special happened this village. Our young men and young women took a deep dive into initiation energy. They met the challenges, held each other, and stepped forward with such courage and heart. A true privilege to witness. 🔥

To our Holding Team & Lead Mentors, thank you for your commitment and skills. And a massive shout out to Uncle Micklo, Mahli for weaving our mythical storylines, Raui, Nomes, Tegan, Ocean & Vanessa for keeping the kids and camp on track & thriving, Lawrence & Robin for being so frickin’ AWESOME, Georgia, Martina, Ruby for weaving us ladies all in, Liam for cloning the men, Deb (aka Gangster Granny) for the always awesome 🏹❤️‍🔥🏹, Ei for the skins and Karlea for nourishing us all again!

To every family, mentor and volunteer who helped co-create the parents’ circles, the teen campouts, the children’s spaces, the weaving, carving, fire making, music, dance, archery and awesome games - please know how deeply deeply loved and appreciated you are. 💛💚💛

These camps are so special, stable and deeply real that it’s honestly hard to find the words.

So much gratitude… and so much excitement as we birth The Wild Village Pathways Foundation, our new not-for-profit, to carry this work forward for generations to come. 🌱 Huge thanks to Selina for steering this forward.
