Kindergarten Pirate Excursion 🏴‍☠️

On Wednesday Kindy dressed as pirates and spent the day at Jacaranda Park. After paying the bus driver with pirate coins they settled in for a noisy ride to Grafton. They played on the pirate ship, interpreted treasure maps and dug for buried treasure. Charli was the lucky student who found the loot. She kindly shared its contents with the class. After a busy day packed full of fun most students fell asleep on the long ride back to school.

🌟 This Week’s Assembly Item🌟

This week, our Learning Hub students shared a wonderful video all about the power of giving compliments!💛

The students created a special video celebrating the amazing staff at our school and highlighting the positive qualities they appreciate in the people who help make our school such a great place to learn and grow. 👏😊

It was a beautiful reminder that a few kind words can make someone’s day and that showing appreciation for others is something we can all do. 💐

Well done to our Learning Hub students for creating such a thoughtful and positive assembly item! 🎥✨

Year 1 Excursion Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary 🐨🌿

Our Year 1 students had a fantastic day exploring the Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary last week! Students enjoyed getting up close with some amazing Australian wildlife, learning about different animals and their habitats, and spending a great day learning outside the classroom.

A wonderful day full of fun, learning and plenty of excitement!

Our wonderful Year 3’s had a fantastic day exploring Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary today! 🐨🌿

One of the highlights was the impressive WildSkies Free Flight Bird Show, where black cockatoos, colourful parrots and magnificent owls swooped and soared right over our heads!

We then ventured through the beautiful sanctuary, visiting koalas, dingoes, crocodiles, Tasmanian devils, red pandas, binturongs, emus along the way and, of course, the highly anticipated capybaras!

A wonderful day of learning, exploring and making memories!

A very special auction item has just been added to tomorrow night's Trivia Night!
