🌟Our Year 6 students have hit the ground running with a fantastic and busy start to the term! We’ve been continuing our deep dive into Australian colonial history while kicking off research for the much-anticipated Night of the Notables. In math, students have been putting their geometric reasoning skills to work as they crack the code on complementary and supplementary angle relationships—using logic and problem-solving to find missing angles like true math detectives. To top it all off, we were lucky enough to share some special buddy time together, which feels extra meaningful as our Year 6 journey slowly draws to a close. ❤️✨

What an AMAZING way to finish off the term! 🌈

Our Colour Run fundraiser was an absolute blast with so much fun, laughter and colour everywhere!

A huge thank you to Engine Swim for donating the incredible prizes, Yamba Fair Butcher for the delicious sausages, and Christian, Brittany and the team from Lawrence Fire Brigade for helping make the day so awesome! 🚒

We are also so grateful for the wonderful support from our community,parents and staff, who helped make the day such a success. ❤️

What a wonderful surprise for our Premier’s Reading Challenge reward! 📚

Our students were treated to a trip to the Yamba cinema to see the new Shaun the Sheep movie! 🍿 Afterwards, we enjoyed lunch together and a fun play at the park, the perfect way to finish off such a special day.

What a fantastic day for our Year 2 students! We began at the Yamba Museum, learning about Yamba’s history and local artwork. After lunch at the lighthouse, students enjoyed Yaegl jewellery making, painting local landscapes and landmarks, and learning some of the Yaegl language.

A wonderful day full of learning, excitement and smiles! 😊

Our Kindergarten children had such a lovely time visiting their friends at Whiddon Mareeba. 💛

It was a beautiful morning spent sharing morning tea, chatting, laughing and enjoying some playdough fun together. 🫶🏼

We absolutely love these special visits and the wonderful connections our little Joeys are building with their friends in the community. So many smiles, stories and precious moments shared across the generations. 🌼

Standing up in front of others takes lots of courage, and we loved seeing everyone have a go, share their ideas and do their very best.
