📚✨ What a great start to Term 3 in Year 3! ✨📚

In English, we have been expanding our vocabulary through our exploration of The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. Students have also been becoming super spellers, using memory hooks to help identify and remember the tricky parts of words. 📝

In Mathematics, we have been developing our knowledge of multiplication facts by creating and exploring arrays. We have now moved on to length and measurement, using a range of measuring instruments, including trundle wheels, to measure and record distances. 📏🚶‍♀️

We have been busy learning, exploring and challenging ourselves and what a fantastic start to Term 3 it has been! 🌟

What a surprise at St Joey’s today! 🏉🏆

Max came along to run a rugby clinic, and had been teasing everyone that he had a surprise… but we NEVER imagined this!

Not only did the kids get an awesome rugby clinic, but we also got the incredible opportunity to see the NRL Provan-Summons Trophy AND the NRL Telstra Women’s Premiership Trophy up close! 🏆

What an unforgettable day! The excitement was HUGE, the smiles were even bigger, and getting to see these iconic trophies in person was seriously special.

Thanks, Max, for an amazing clinic and a surprise we definitely won’t forget! 🏉 🏆

What an incredible week for Stage 3! 🏕️
Our campers have had an absolute blast at Tyalgum Ridge Retreat, pushing their limits on the high ropes, exploring the great outdoors with some epic rock hopping, waterfall hikes, and building memories that will last a lifetime.

To top it all off, we rolled into Dreamworld for our final day of fun before heading back home today! 🎢

🏐💙 Stage 2 Netball Gala Day! 💙🏐

What a fantastic day for our St Joey’s Stage 2 netballers! Our students had a wonderful time out on the court, showing off their skills, teamwork and sportsmanship while having plenty of fun along the way.

It was so lovely to see everyone cheering each other on, encouraging their teammates and giving every game their best. We are incredibly proud of all our Stage 2 netballers!
