Literacy goes beyond the printed page! This National Literacy and Numeracy Week, our Stage 1 classes are putting their digital literacy to work using ScratchJr.

By creating interactive stories and games, our students are developing key skills:

🧩 Logical thinking & problem-solving

📖 Story sequencing & digital storytelling

🤝 Collaboration and creative expression

We are so excited to begin our Little Shamrocks transition program starting next week!

Little Shamrocks is a fantastic opportunity for children starting Kindergarten in 2027 to meet new friends, explore our school, and get comfortable with school life alongside our wonderful staff.

🗓 When: Mondays (9:00 AM – 10:15 AM)
- September 7th
- September 14th
- September 21st

📍 Where: St. Patrick’s Primary School Library

🏉 HUGE congratulations to Logan and Remy! 🎉

This week, the boys travelled to Coffs Harbour to represent Polding at the NSWPSSA Touch Football Championships. They put in a tremendous effort on the field, helping their team reach the finals and take home 3rd place overall! 🥉

🌟 A special shoutout to Remy, who has been selected for the NSW Team! He will be heading to Newcastle to compete at the School Sport Australia Touch Football Championships in October.

We are so incredibly proud of both of you! 🙌

Our sporting superstars have been absolutely shining on the track and field this term! We had 35 students proudly represent us at the Hastings Zone Athletics at Port Macquarie, where Remy smashed the Long Jump record and Lilly was named Senior Girls Champion!

The momentum didn't stop there. Fifteen of our athletes advanced to the Diocesan Athletics at Woolgoolga, bringing home even more amazing results. A huge shout out to Lilly for winning Senior Girls Champion AGAIN, and a massive congratulations to our Senior Girls Relay Team (Lilly, Soraya, Brooklyn, and Avani) who are officially off to the Polding Championships at Glendale next month!

We are always so incredibly proud of our students and their successes. Go team St Pats.
