Hello everyone! After a nearly 2 year hiatus in which I taught watercolour painting and mindfulness sessions across the world while backpacking and had a baby. I'm back to reign in 2023 with an impromptu session this Thursday at the Nambucca Markets in Gordon park.

Parents and adults are welcome to join, we will be following a basic lesson on painting techniques incorporated with some mindfulness practices, applicable to all as it is taught at a steady, fun pace!

Our theme will be Christmas beetles, some knowledge on our glorious insect and it's ways in the world will be shared ❤️
How many Christmas cards have you received that have filled your heart while reading of your loved one's accomplishments? Write one for yourself, filled with all the glorious things you're proud of.

Weekend in Sydney! I had a 2 day workshop 8:30-5 for uni, where I painted heaps with all my hands free time, including this corner of the classroom with all the students signing it for our lovely teacher. My last workshop for this degree, just need to finish my volunteering and go into placement next term!

My incredible mama came with us and watch Seb, ferrying him to me at lunch time. We trained 8 hours down, then had a hellish 9 hr bus ride back due to track work. Feeling alot more confident about travelling with Seb after that 😂
he's such a cool baby, we got soo many compliments on the bus for having such a sweet babe. He doesn't sleep through the night, eats like an elephant but he's full of smiles and gurgles. Once you sort what's bugging him he settles down. He hates being laid down, much prefers to be upright watching the world so two days of travelling in loving arms the whole time suited him well! He turned 2 months while we were away ❤️

Photos from the dorrigo rainforest walk, completed a week before I delivered. Mum did this walk with grandma while visiting this area when she was also 9 months pregnant. It was almost 7km, there was a 2km one but I was doing 3k at the beach regularly and since it's an hour away I wanted to make a day of it... didn't quite clock the whole rainforest on the side of a mountain thing 😂. Took us an extra hour walking it with lots of pit stops, and about 4 people joking that I'd have the baby on the mountain. Even pre-pregnancy I'd have been puffed but damn it was hard being so big! Mum and I did quick sketches when we stopped for breaks, which really helped me appreciate the magnitude of beauty on offer

I buried my placenta under an apple tree, buried with coins I collected from the Balkans when Seb was conceived, with rocks from a beach in the UK. Made some prints with a mix of my favourite watercolours as I didn't have ink.
Picked a bunch of flowers and laid them around the tree, saying thanks to the placenta, and the universe.
I wanted to write a poetic spiel about this moment, but I can't find the words to describe how beautiful and powerful it was.
I'm exhausted, but so in love.

Nambucca markets last weekend, had painful cervical kicks from the baby all day but it was so much fun having such a diverse table.

Bello markets on Saturday, probably my last before the baby comes! I stayed up late baking and sorting some new prints, and had to wake up at 5am so I was exhausted by the end, had a quick nap

Such a successful day, debuting (and selling!) new artwork, baked goods and lots of glass. The free art exchange was given some effort, and I was really blown away by the creativity that I saw from a variety of ages.
