Every child is an artist, and outdoor art experiences allow children to create freely while engaging all their senses. Working with natural materials supports creativity, imagination, confidence, communication, and wellbeing, while fostering a connection with the natural environment.

Today was filled with colourful creations, big ideas, and happy little artists discovering that inspiration can be found everywhere. 🌿✨

🌿 OUTSIDE PLAY IS SO MUCH MORE THAN “JUST RUNNING AROUND”! 🌿

At Goodstart Shakespeare Street, our outdoor program is a huge part of how children learn, grow and develop — and it happens all year round! ☀️🌧️

We run a genuine indoor-outdoor program, giving children the freedom to move between environments, follow their interests and learn through real experiences.

And the best part? Our large, combined outdoor yard means you’ll find everyone out there — from our youngest Toddlers right through to our Kindy children — playing, exploring and learning alongside each other. 💚

🥊 THE GREAT SENSORY LEARNING SHOWDOWN! 🥊

Our Toddlers and Senior Toddlers have been getting stuck into sensory play over the past week — and while the mess might look like the fun part, there’s actually A LOT of learning happening underneath it all! 👀🫧

From exploring textures, smells, sounds and movement to building fine motor skills, language, curiosity, problem-solving and confidence, these little scientists have been busy investigating how the world works. 🧠🔎

But now we need to settle the VERY important question…
