Can't control your child's urge to sing and dance? This fun, educational, recreational program may be just what you need to direct their energy! The Con Academy Musical Theatre program is delivered on Saturdays mornings by MISS ELLA BARRESI with classes taking place in our professional theatre and facilities at CQCM.

Conservatorium Academy Mackay are looking forward to 2016 with the inclusion of a few new areas for young performers. We have an experienced team of teachers ready to deliver inspiring classes for your young performer or musician at our professional facilities at the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music.

Lessons are available in the following areas:
- Musical Theatre (group classes in singing, dancing and acting)
- Individual Brass lessons (trumpet, trombone, euphonium)
- Individual Woodwind lessons (saxophone, clarinet, flute)
- Individual Guitar / Bass lessons (acoustic or electric)
- Jazz & Pop ensemble (group ensemble lesson for instrumentalists and singers).

Today marks a happy but sad day for Hannah Louise Vocal Studio. This is my last week of teaching at the studio as I embark on a new exciting adventure. Next year the studio will be closed and I am unsure on when we will open again. I have given 3 years of Singing Tuition to the Mackay region and I am so lucky to have met some wonderful and very talented people! Next year my plan to finally have a honeymoon is going to come true! My husband and I are going to go to Japan in February and are looking at a few different trips throughout the year. It has been a tough year with the industry in Mackay and although we are not a mining company we do feel the pain of students who are unable to attend due to financial stress with parents who unfortunately have lost their jobs. I will also be working for Blomfield Environmental as the Operations Assistant in a part time position which is very exciting and I will be getting to work for the family business! This will mean I have lots of time to be at home and go on holidays more often. We have just moved into our new home on 10 acres and I will have plenty of gardening to do as well as getting some pets and livestock. I hope that all of my wonderful students continue to sing and I also hope my wonderful staff continue their teaching journey, to Amber, Amie and Ella you have been incredible and I wish you all the very best. Hannah Louise Vocal Studio this is not the end but just a long interval! Act 1 has been amazing see you all for Act 2! :) # # #

Congratulations to the beautiful Miss Ella today who had her last ever singing exam at Uni! We are so proud of you! 🎶🎼🎤🎭😘

Congrats to Miss Hannah's students Zodie and Jasmine for their modern solos this morning. Well done girls! And thanks also to Jack who accompanied the girls and Lloyd for their solos. The adjudicator made a special mention and we are very proud! 👏🏻🎉🎸🎶

Congrats to Miss Ambers students: Madeleine sang a gorgeous 7 years girls solo. Lois and Angela also sang really well in their modern section! Congratulations girls!

Congratulations to my Whitsunday Anglican students who performed today:
Samuel received HC in his 8 years boys solo.
Mariselle and Bella performed lovely 7 years girls solos. Madeleine, Lloyd and Grace sang great modern songs in the 13 & 14 years modern section! Well done!!!
