Hot Tots Educational Centre Hot Tots Educational Centre is a family owned, professionally managed childcare centre. The important thing is to achieve the right balance.

When you entrust the education and care of your child at Hot Tots, you can be assured our dedicated team of Educators put the well-being, happiness, development and education of your child above all else. All Educators have current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates. Our dedicated team of Educators understand how critical the first five years is to a child's development. At Hot Tots we believe children develop best when their days are filled with play, learning and fun. We understand a child's developmental growth - physically, socially and emotionally providing them with the ability to learn the types of knowledge, behaviour, thinking and communication skills they require for life. As we recognise the importance of stimulating a child's brain in the early years is critical, we ensure the experiences of hearing, seeing, touching, smelling, tasting, exploring and questioning. This provides the foundation for learning and other lifelong skills shaping the adults they will become.

Bush2Beach is back 🏝️ 🎣 🦀

On our adventure today we stopped by to see mummy possum and her baby that are happily residing in the community garden eating raspberries and sleeping in the shade of the tree.

In the garden we found so much has grown since our last adventures, the tomatoes have taken off and we are patiently waiting for them to go from green to red 🍅.

We also spotted a Mackay painted rock that spreads kindness in our community, maybe Kindy can paint some and leave out on their next adventure.

Pre kindy intergenerational visits- over the last term Pre Kindy have been visiting Oz Care and forming relationships with the residents and have recently become pen pals by sending and receiving post cards with messages and drawings.

What a lovely way to stay connected between visits and strengthen the bond they have formed.

📚🌿 The children have been exploring books by Julia Donaldson and recently made a wonderful connection while reading The Gruffalo’s Child. They noticed that the Gruffalo’s Child had a Stick Man toy, which sparked their interest in Julia Donaldson’s book Stick Man! 🪵✨
After reading the story, the children created their very own Stick Men using sticks, wire, googly eyes and leaves. They also worked together to build a special treehouse for their Stick Men! 🏡🍃

It was wonderful to see the children making connections between stories, using their imaginations and working creatively together. 💚📖✨
