Tomorrow we're heading to the Career Expo at the Mackay Showgrounds. This is a great opportunity for students to explore future pathways, meet employers, training providers and universities, and start thinking about what's next after school.

🚌 Bus departs KMG School at 9:30am sharp.

Please make sure students arrive at school on time and are wearing the full school uniform so we can leave as scheduled.

We're looking forward to a great day of exploring opportunities and helping our students take the next step towards their future! πŸ’™

The KMG Learn2Run Warriors are entering the final stages of preparation for this Sunday's Not So Corporate Marina Run.

Today was a big milestone, with the first group being fitted out with proper running shoes to support their 5km and 10km challenges.

The quote of the day?
πŸ’¬ "My feet feel like feet."

A simple comment, but one that says a lot about the journey these young people have been on.

Over the past months, our Warriors have shown commitment, resilience and determination as they have trained alongside Coach Dan from New Direction Run Club. Every kilometre completed has been a step towards improved health, 'CONFIDENCE' and personal achievement.

This Sunday, you'll see our Learn2Run Warriors proudly taking on the 5km and 10km events.

If you're at the Marina, give them a cheer as they cross the start line and celebrate the hard work they've put in to get there.
Let's go Warriors! πŸ’ͺπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Unfortunately, we have had unwanted guests inside the school building again overnight. As a result, today’s normal school routine will be disrupted while we manage the situation and ensure the site is safe for students and staff.

We kindly ask that families please keep their child at home today.

If any students arrive at school before seeing this update, we will arrange transport to take them home this morning.

We appreciate your understanding and patience. Further updates will be provided as needed.
