What a wonderful week celebrating the magic of books, stories and imagination! 🌈📖

Our little learners (and educators 😉) loved dressing up as some of their favourite book characters and bringing their stories to life. From colourful costumes to lots of smiles, Book Week is always one of our favourite weeks of the year! 💛

Ever had one of those "What should I be doing with my child?" moments? You might already have the answer at home.

Earlier this year, every Goodstart family received a What & When for Families guide for each child. If it's been tucked away in a drawer since then, now might be the perfect time to pull it back out.

The guide is packed with simple, play-based activities that support your child's learning and development at home. Best of all, it's written in your child's voice, with ideas tailored to their age and developmental stage.

From singing songs with babies and playing peek-a-boo, to "I Spy" games, storytelling and treasure hunts with older children, the activities are designed to fit naturally into everyday moments you already share together.

We know learning doesn't only happen in the classroom. Those small moments at home can help build big communication, language and literacy skills.

Our little learners had so much fun getting hands-on with a colourful sensory experience outdoors! With water, bubbles, colours, pots and utensils to explore, the children were busy mixing, pouring, scooping and creating together. 💙💚

Experiences like this are not only lots of fun, but support children to develop their curiosity, creativity, fine motor skills, problem-solving and social connections as they explore alongside their friends.

There’s nothing better than seeing our children completely engaged in their play — even if it means getting a little messy along the way! 🥰✨

🌿 Our Sustainability Project is Complete! 🌿

We’re so excited to unveil our beautiful new seahorse and platypus, lovingly created as part of our sustainability journey at Goodstart Andergrove. 💚♻️

Made from recycled bottle lids collected by our children, families, GoodStart Mount P, and educators, this project is a wonderful example of what we can achieve when our community comes together with a shared purpose.

Throughout this experience, children explored the importance of reducing waste, reusing everyday materials, and caring for our environment. They saw firsthand how items that would normally be discarded can be transformed into something meaningful and beautiful.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated bottle lids and supported this project. Your contributions have helped create a lasting piece of artwork that reflects our commitment to sustainability, creativity, and community.

Together, we’re helping our children learn that even the smallest actions can make a big difference. 🌏💙

💙👖 Jeans for Genes Day 👖💙

Today our educators, children and families proudly wore their jeans to support Jeans for Genes Day and help raise awareness for children living with genetic conditions.

It was wonderful to see our community come together, dressed in denim and sharing smiles at our photo booth! 📸
