Our Sonya Won Gold in the North QLD Games Mountain Biking Event in the 'sport' category. An even bigger achievement was The Games were Sonya's very first official solo gig as the clubs first ever female Commissaire on what happened to be International Women's Mountain Bike day Saturday the 5th of May... Well done! Well done to all our NQ Games competitors on Saturday- we are very proud sponsors of the MAD Mountain Bike Club.

Last week was a big week of Winning for the DUT community...
The North Goonyella Coal Mines Rescue team sponsored by Down Under Training won the ‘QMRS Memorial Cup’, they also won the ‘George Carbine Memorial Shield’ for outstanding 1st Aid... a credit to their hard work and dedication... Well done boys- we are very proud....

DUT giving back to the community...
Today we had the pleasure of assisting the Mackay and District Mountain Bike Club by providing important First Aid training to some of their Coaches and Volunteers. The course was customised to the needs of the sport and the associations requirements. The participants learned life saving first aid skills along with practical ways to assist fellow mountain bikers and apply their newly learned skills on the track.
