𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗲𝗳 & 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗨𝗡𝗞𝗦 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆

Over the term, a group of our students have been working with Miss Dos Santos as part of the Healthy Rivers to Reef STEM Schools Program, building their STEM skills through a real-world local waterway challenge.

Students have been learning about design thinking, coding, AI and robotics, including how AI can be used to support coding, generate ideas and help solve problems. They have used these skills to work collaboratively, test ideas and create solutions to help keep our rivers and reefs healthy.

Students also had the opportunity to learn from BMA industry experts, who shared how they use robotics and technology in their everyday work. It was a valuable chance for students to see real-world STEM in action and hear how these tools are used in industry.

It has been fantastic to see the enthusiasm, teamwork and creative thinking shown by our students throughout the program.
