🌿🪨 Bush Kindy Adventures! 🐢🌿

We were so lucky to finally enjoy our 3rd Bush Kindy visit! After our last two visits were unable to go ahead, we were very excited to get back out into nature this week. 💚

During our walk, the children had lots of fun hiding our Kindy Kindness Rocks for others to find. Each child had a turn choosing a special spot and hiding their rock, making this a very exciting experience!

We also explored patterns and designs using natural resources we found along the way. The children used their creativity and imagination to create some wonderful designs from the treasures around us.

And to make our visit even more special, we were lucky enough to spot some turtles! The children were so excited to see them and it was definitely a highlight of our day!

What a wonderful Bush Kindy adventure filled with nature, creativity, kindness and discovery! 🌱💚✨

Our Mini Kindy Commonwealth Games! 🏅🌏

As part of our Kindy children’s learning, we have been exploring a different letter of the alphabet each week. This week, we focused on “O” so we held our very own Olympic-inspired games!

With the Commonwealth Games being a talking point, the children became interested in learning more about sporting events and began talking about the different events they might see at the Olympics and Commonwealth Games. This inspired us to hold our very own Mini Kindy Commonwealth Games! 🎉

On Wednesday 12th August 2026, our Kindy children proudly participated in a range of exciting events, including long jump, hurdles, shot put and running races. The children showed enthusiasm, determination, and fantastic sportsmanship as they encouraged and cheered on their friends. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

To finish off our exciting day, the children gathered together and patiently waited for their special moment to stand on the podium and receive their medals during our very own medal ceremony. 🥇🥈🥉

We are so proud of all our little athletes for giving everything a go, supporting their friends and celebrating each other’s achievements.

👖💙 Jeans for Genes Day 💙👖

What a fantastic Jeans for Genes Day we have had at Essence Early Learning! Our children and educators proudly wore their favourite jeans to help raise awareness for genetic conditions and birth defects that affect thousands of Australian families.

Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful families, we have raised $449 so far! 🎉

Thank you for supporting this important cause and helping make a difference in the lives of children and families impacted by genetic conditions. We are so grateful for your kindness and support. 💙

🤪🎉 Crazy Hair Day! 🎉🤪

What a fantastic day we had celebrating Crazy Hair Day! From colourful creations to wild and wacky styles, the children arrived with some amazing hairstyles that brought lots of smiles and laughter to our centre.

Thank you to all our families for helping the children get creative and join in the fun. We loved seeing everyone's unique and imaginative hairdos!

🖤💛❤️ Celebrating NAIDOC Week at Essence Early Learning ❤️💛🖤

Our children have been celebrating NAIDOC Week by learning about and recognising the rich histories, cultures, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Through storytelling, art, music, creative experiences, and meaningful conversations, our children explored the importance of connection to Country, community, culture, and respect. These experiences help foster understanding, appreciation, and a sense of belonging from an early age.

We are proud to provide opportunities for our children to learn about and celebrate the world's oldest continuing cultures and to honour the strength and resilience of First Nations peoples.

Thank you to our wonderful educators for creating such meaningful learning experiences, and to our families for supporting these important celebrations.
