Today, 28 students from Grade 3-6 participated in the Australian Mathematics Challenge. This was an opt-in challenge, with students given an hour to work through 30 very challenging problem solving questions. The resilience and positivity during the practice sessions and the competition was fantastic. Well done everyone! Results will be release and sent home in 4-6 weeks.

The 5/6s were lucky enough to investigate and design today during their incursion with GTAC, in preparation for their "Tackling the pollination problem" excursion next week!
Some very successful pollinators today!
Oh, and looking at bees and flowers through the microscopes was pretty cool too!

Thanks to Lisa M & her helpers for organising yesterday's Movie Night. The kids loved their hot dog and popcorn, and enjoyed the time with their friends.

The P/1s have been learning about what life was like in the past. They have a museum set up in class, and today they rolled up their sleeves and got to work! Some found the going tough, however despite that, enjoyed the opportunity!

On our toastie & soup & rodeo disco day, we had a power outage until midday! Thank you so much to all the parent helpers who assisted with extra generators, toasting toasties, making & warming soup, rodeo disco set-up, and now the running of the disco. P-2 are almost done, and look like they've had a ball.
We're very lucky to have such wonderful parents willing to help out. Thank you.

A Granny Smith tree, a Pink Lady tree, and over 100 seedlings for breakfast club cooking! Thanks to Bunnings Warehouse Australia from Lilydale for coming out, and thanks to our kids and Charmaine for getting them in the ground! Yum yum!
