Today the Kinder A children got to go out on an excursion to the Ballarat Farmgate shop! ☀️💛

The children all hopped on the bus and off we went! The children sung the wheels on the bus all the way to farmgate! 🚌

Once we arrived at farmgate the children got some shopping trolleys and walked through the store, we had a look at all the yummy doughnuts and went into the freezer room to have a look at all the fruits and vegetables I asked the children if they could name them all, they were very excited about broccoli and dragonfruit! 😂🥦

After that the children walked up to the cash register and brought some mandarins and a pumpkin! The children brought the fruits and veggies back to the centre for Bec to use for her cooking! ☺️🫶🏻

Organic Week – Growing Our Own Sprouts! 🌱
Hi everyone,
This week, we are celebrating Organic Week! 💚
We encourage our little ones to enjoy the experience of planting and growing their own sprouts. It’s a wonderful way for children to learn about nature, healthy food, and the joy of growing something with their own hands.
Here are the simple steps for our little gardeners:
🪴 Scoop some soil into the little pot.
🌱 Sprinkle the seeds around the soil.
🌿 Top up with a little more soil.
💦 Spray some water on top.
Take the pot home and let your little one observe their sprouts as they grow! 🌱✨
