Construction time! 🛠️
Room 1 have been putting their design skills to the test by creating some incredible masterpieces using boxes and a range of other materials! Students have worked together, sharing ideas and resources while developing their creations using scissors, glue and even the ChompSaw!
It has been wonderful to watch their creativity and imagination at work as their ideas have come to life!

What a wonderful celebration of books, imagination and creativity at our Loxton North School Book Week Parade! 🌟

Our school came alive with an amazing collection of characters – we spotted Gingerbread Men, Toy Story characters, princesses, penguins, Minions, superheroes, Mario characters, dinosaurs and so many other much-loved book characters! 🦸‍♀️👑🐧🍪🦖🍄

It was fantastic to see the excitement as our students proudly paraded their costumes and celebrated this year's theme, “Symphony of Stories.” 🎵📖

A huge thank you to our families for the time, effort and creativity that went into the costumes – there were certainly plenty of smiles throughout the morning!

Here are some highlights from our fabulous 2026 Book Week Parade. 💙📚✨

🔬🌱 National Science Week at Loxton North School! 🧪🌻

What a fantastic afternoon of wondering, discovering, experimenting and learning together!

Yesterday, our students were joined by their families for our National Science Week Family Afternoon, celebrating this year’s theme “Seeds of Science: Nurturing Knowledge for All.” 🌱

There was plenty of excitement as children and adults got hands-on with a range of science explorations and experiments. It was wonderful to see so many families joining in, asking questions, making discoveries and, most importantly, having lots of fun together! 💚

A huge thank you to all of our families who came along and helped make the afternoon such a success, and to our staff for planning and preparing such engaging activities. And an EXTRA big thank-you to Mrs Pinney - our STEM teacher for bringing everything together!

🎥 We captured plenty of moments from the afternoon — enjoy this little snapshot of our Science Week fun!
