State of Origin fever has officially arrived at Little Gems Lowood, and it seems our youngest children are the most competitive group in the entire centre! 😆

The 0–1 year old room has been proudly showing their team spirit, with plenty of smiles, excitement and friendly rivalry as they get behind their favourite team.

While we may be little, our support for the Maroons is mighty! 💪❤️

We're looking forward to seeing which room can show the most team spirit, but for now, the babies are setting the standard!

🐞💛 Welcome to Our Lady Bugs Room! 💛🐞

Our Lady Bugs Room (1–2 years) is a place filled with laughter, learning, exploration and lots of fun!

With the guidance of Miss Pepper and Miss Charlee, our little learners enjoy every part of their day as they discover the world around them through play, meaningful interactions and engaging experiences.

Every experience is thoughtfully designed to support all areas of children's development, including communication, social and emotional wellbeing, physical development, cognitive growth and independence. Through nurturing relationships and responsive teaching, Miss Pepper and Miss Charlee help each child work towards and achieve their developmental milestones at their own pace.

We love watching our Lady Bugs grow in confidence as they learn new skills, build friendships and celebrate their achievements every day. 🥰

We would like to extend a huge thank you to the Lowood Showow for welcoming us to our very first Lowood Show!

We also want to thank the wonderful community, both near and far, who stopped by for a chat, got creative with our scented playdough, and joined in the fun of building the tallest towers.

We had an absolutely fantastic day connecting with families and showcasing what we do. We loved meeting so many new faces and being part of such a wonderful community event.

📚💛 Story Time Starts Early at Little Gems Lowood 💛📚

Did you know that children can benefit from being read to from as young as 3 months old?

At Little Gems Lowood, story time is an important part of every day. Our educators read to children of all ages, from our tiniest babies right through to our Kindergarten learners.

Reading together helps build language and communication skills, encourages listening and concentration, supports early literacy development and creates wonderful opportunities for connection and bonding.

Whether it's a baby captivated by the sound of a familiar voice, a toddler pointing out pictures, or a preschooler joining in with their favourite story, every child is included and encouraged to develop a love of books and learning.
