As part of our Science Week celebrations, students from Kindergarten to Year 6 enjoyed a fascinating and hands-on visit from Animal Ark! 🐍🔬

Students had the opportunity to get up close with an amazing variety of creatures. They were able to hold snails, frogs and snakes, pat a bobtail lizard, and see leaf insects, geckos, a scorpion, redback spider, tarantula and even a death adder! 🐸🦎🕷️🦂

One of the highlights was watching what happened when a fluorescent light was shone on the scorpion. Students also learnt lots of fascinating facts about the animals, including discovering how snails eat! 🐌

It was a fun, engaging and memorable experience that sparked plenty of curiosity and excitement as students learnt more about the incredible animals we share our world with! ✨

For Science Week, our Year 5 students got hands-on with a colourful “Fireworks in a Jar” experiment! 🎆🧪

As they watched the colours swirl and burst through the water, students explored how the process occurs and learned about the density of different liquids.

🖤💛❤️NAIDOC Week Door Display 💙💚

Upon return from the holidays, each class put their creativity on display by decorating their classroom door to celebrate and honour NAIDOC Week. We are so proud of the thought, effort and teamwork that has gone into each design.

Happy Principal's Day!

A Principal's role extends far beyond what is seen around the school each day. From leading our College to making important decisions behind the scenes, there is so much that goes into creating a positive and successful learning environment.

Today we thank our Principal for her leadership, dedication and the many ways she supports our staff, students and families.
