We are grateful for Young Tassie Scientists visiting us to talk to the 3-6 cohort today about various Science endeavours.

Onnida from Thailand walked us through programming a 'robot' (student) to achieve a goal, in which logical reasoning was required. Science and tech are playgrounds for exploration.

Ema from Romania/Italy opened up the fascinating world of beetles and the many different species. One in every four animals is a beetle.

Storm from New Zealand delved into an exploration of the shapes, colours and variations of fungi/mushrooms. Mycorrhizal fungi form massive underground networks.

What an incredible performance put on by Terrapin this morning. Our students were absolutely captivated for the entire performance. The sound effects, the puppets, the hilarious comedy and the way the actors told a story without using any English words was phenomenal.
