Happy Birthday to our wonderful Business Manager, Miss Julia! ✨

This week we celebrated Miss Julia’s special day with a vibrant theme of pinks and oranges, capturing her bright and bold personality. The sparkle was truly everywhere, from the gift wrapping, to the disco balls and heart shaped cake that glistened in the light; all representing her uniqueness.

Investing in outdoor experiences isn't just about fun; it’s where children explore curiosity, build resilience, and discover their own confidence. Our Vacation Care children exemplified this with Miss Beth, starting their school holidays off by turning dreams into a reality. By stepping outside their comfort zones, our little magic makers proved that with a little curiosity and a lot of determination, they truly can achieve anything they set their minds to. 🏕️

⭐️🍿🎥 You asked, and we listened — transforming our familiar daytime learning space into a special after-hours community hub. Our Movie Night Under the Stars was a fantastic way to conclude Community Week, as we continue to foster connections that bridge home and care. This event provided families with a warm, welcoming environment to connect, while helping children feel safe and secure during positive transitions; creating core memories that will last a lifetime.

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us for an evening of enjoyment, togetherness, and community spirit. We also extend our deepest thanks to our incredible team of educators who helped to make this memorable event possible with their continued dedication and effort. This event, along with others, really highlight just how important genuine partnerships between families and our wider community are, in establishing the foundation for the best possible outcomes for our children.

At the heart of our mission for Community Week, we fostered access and active participation for all children, by ensuring they have meaningful opportunities to learn and engage in. Building strong community connections through collaborative partnerships, the children of Wandilla Magic were enriched with such a valuable opportunity as they got up close with the fire brigade.

We sincerely thank Beenleigh Fire and Rescue Station, along with the entire Fire Department, for their dedication and service. Your ongoing support plays a vital role in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for our children to grow and thrive. 🚒

Another day, another opportunity ~ Learning what it means to be a First Responder ⛑️ (Community Week 2026)

This day was more than just basic first aid and understanding emergency responses; it was about building confidence and a sense of responsibility. This experience left the children of Wandilla Magic feeling inspired, encouraging them to be prepared and wanting to help support others in times of need.

A huge thankyou to the Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics for all that you do and organisations like Mr Paramedic for enlightening the younger generation with knowledge and understanding on how they too can help make a difference!

Community Week Highlights ~ Under 8’s Day 🌳🤩

Exploration, is act of investigating, examining or discovering new things, through curiosity and active engagement. It involves seeking out new experiences and ideas to learn and understand more about our world around us. Our recent Under 8’s Day excursion to Loganholme State School did just this.

We believe every child should feel secure, confident and included as they develop skills for lifelong learning. This opportunity fostered open and supportive relationships and strengthened partnerships with families and our wider community. We are so proud of our early learners and the bright confident individuals they are becoming! ✨

🌈 April Recap at Wandilla Magic

A wonderful month full of growth, community, and meaningful moments! We are grateful for the support and dedication from both our team of educators and our families, who help us continue to foster hope, resilience and self awareness.

Highlights include our recent Rainbow Day where our community came together, raising a total of $511.50 to donate to the Luna Capri Foundation. - This foundation shares a vision to educate children and families on the importance of self identity and self awareness while empowering the next generation of families to RISE UP. ✨

We want to thank you all again and remind any families who has a charity or foundation they hold close to them to please send us an email so we can work together on supporting this too.

"A mother’s love is endless, and her impact is everlasting."

This week we saw the children of Wandilla Magic, make choices and take ownership. Our Mother’s Day Stall not only did this but also supported their growth in confidence and independence. - We trust that our Mum’s and Grandmother’s felt the love this Mother’s Day.

To all the Mum’s, Grandmother’s and anyone playing a Motherly role, you’re incredible.
