Well… Friday night was a BIG one. ❤️🏆
We headed to the Logan Chamber of Commerce Business Distinction Awards at the Logan Entertainment Centre incredibly proud to have both of our businesses represented.
🎤 Performance Studios — Education
🥂 Club Noir Australia — Hospitality & Events
And somehow we walked out having won BOTH categories… and then Performance Studios was announced as:
🏆 2026 SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
Three awards. One night. Still taking that in!
Performance Studios has never just been about teaching people to sing. It’s about creating a place where people can find their voice, build confidence, develop their craft and feel like they belong.
And then there’s Club Noir.
Stewart and I had the idea together. I could see what it could look like and what it could become, and Stewart Fleming literally built it with his own hands. ❤️
And today, Jacob Parr runs it — taking what we created and continuing to grow it into a professional performance and events space that we are incredibly proud to have here in Logan.
So to see Club Noir recognised with the Hospitality & Events Award was a pretty special moment for all three of us.
To Stewart — thank you for continuing to build these crazy dreams with me (sometimes quite literally 😂) and for being beside me through all of it.
To Beth Parr, our Performance Studios Manager, and Jacob Parr, our Club Noir Manager — a huge thank you. You both carry so much of the day-to-day responsibility and heart of these businesses, and this recognition belongs to you too.
And to our whole PS and Club Noir family — our teachers, team, artists, students, families, clients and everyone who walks through our doors and trusts us — thank you. You are a huge part of why we do what we do.
Thank you to the Logan Chamber of Commerce for continuing to champion local business and for creating a night that celebrates the people building, employing, creating and contributing here in Logan.
Thank you also to all of the sponsors who make these awards possible, and a special thank you to Bendigo Bank for the way you continue to back local business, community and so many of the projects we are involved in.
And a special congratulations to Shelley Jacks and Magnus Health — 2026 Large Business of the Year. 🏆
Shelley, what a year! To be working alongside you through The Carers Foundation Australia and then find ourselves sharing the stage as the Small and Large Business of the Year winners was a pretty special moment. Congratulations to you and your team. ❤️
