Exciting news! Today, we held our first LV primary chess tournament, and it was a tremendous success! Sixty enthusiastic students faced off in a fun and competitive atmosphere. This afternoon, our Year 4-6 students had a fantastic time at the interschool sports day! They showcased their skills in netball, touch football, cricket, and volleyball, all while cheering each other on and demonstrating great sportsmanship. It was a day filled with laughter and teamwork. A big thank you to everyone who helped organise the event! We can’t wait for more fun and games in the future!

Yesterday, we held our Book Week Parade, and it was an amazing morning! Students showcased their incredible costumes inspired by their favourite characters, and it was fantastic to see our teachers and staff joining in the fun, too. The parade celebrated our love for reading and brought our school community together. A big thank you to everyone who participated and made it such a memorable event!

The countdown is on... our Country Fair is tomorrow! We can't wait to welcome our school and local community to Kings for an afternoon of fun, food, and festivities.

A huge thank you to our wonderful sponsors, Bendigo Bank Logan Village and Games World, for their generous support of this year's event. Their contribution has helped make our fair a success, and we are incredibly grateful. If you have the opportunity, we encourage our families and community members to support these businesses and thank them for investing in our school community.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our families and community members who have donated items, provided auction prizes, and filled jars for our Tombola raffle. Your generosity and support have been overwhelming and are a true reflection of the amazing community we are fortunate to be part of.

Today in high school chapel, we had the privilege of experiencing an inspiring performance by the amazing Kani Kombanie, who is currently touring with Wonder World - Youth Alive. The energy in the room was palpable as Kani shared his incredible talent through music. He is a Christian rapper who uses storytelling in his music to convey messages of faith and inspiration.

His performance was not just entertaining; it was a powerful reminder of the passion and creativity that young people can harness to make a positive impact in the world. Kani's stage presence and engagement with the audience created a vibrant atmosphere that left everyone feeling motivated and uplifted.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with someone so talented and dedicated to their art.
