🌟 Seedlings Star.
This month, we proudly celebrate Miss Chamari!
Miss Chamari began her journey with us as a placement student, and many of you may have seen her spending time in the Nursery and Toddler rooms. After completing her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, she was offered a position with Seedlings — and we are so glad she stayed!
Chamari has quickly become a valued team member. Her gentle nature has been noticed by many families, and it’s wonderful to see the meaningful connections she is building each day.

As a learning community... we all have the same goals. To build a better tomorrow for our little people. And that starts with us

It’s such a simple concept… and yet, it’s everything.

Reflecting as a mother, it’s something I’m so, so guilty of NOT doing. I’m always busy. Distracted. Thinking ahead. And I have absolutely forgotten that what they see first is me.

My face.
My expression.
Their first mirror.

Today we were invited by Seedlings & Co. - Calamvale to Emotional Resilience in the Classroom with Dr Justin Coulson. It was a very timely reminder not just as a playworker, but as a parent—that emotions are contagious. How we show up matters. Our energy. Our faces. Our presence.

To all our Curious Me families… I know I have a strong resting bitch face 🙈. My aging brow reminds me daily how much I frown. I’ve always been aware of it, but if I’m honest, I’ve never really tried to change it.

I’m sorry. Truly. 🤦‍♀️

Our children deserve to feel seen. To feel welcome. To feel like they are the reason our eyes light up 💡. Including mine, because nothing truly brings me more joy than all your amazing children 🫶.

From exploring loose parts with friends to discovering sound in the bush, our seedlings are deep in inquiry, connection and play. The environment is our teacher, and every moment builds early years success—one curious question at a time.

Our Seedlings Star. 🌟
This month, we want to give a big shout-out to Miss Molly for her incredible dedication and hard work in the kitchen.
Miss Molly does more than just prepare healthy meals for our seedlings—she goes above and beyond in everything she does. At our May staff meeting, she led a food training session for the team and even organized a fun and engaging team game to bring us all together.
In addition to her day-to-day role, Miss Molly collaborates with from our other services, holding team meetings to discuss menu ideas and how to consistently provide meals across all locations.
Looking ahead, Miss Molly is also spearheading a for 2025, focusing on the presence of processed vs. unprocessed foods in each room. Her constant advocacy for and her passion for nourishing our seedlings has not gone unnoticed.
