Learning through play, one number at a time 🔢🌟

Swipe through to see Miss Nica's fun counting activity in action! Our little learners arranged pegs in ascending order from 1 to 14, lining them up along different shapes and counting out loud as each number was placed.

Our new outdoor area was full of energy today! 🕺💃✨

Our little learners kicked things off with a friendship conga line, giggling and dancing their way around the yard together, before forming a dance circle where each child took their turn showing off their own unique moves while their friends cheered them on.

Little hands, big discoveries 🕸️✨

Our little learners got crafty today, making their very own spiders and spider webs using paper plates, string and pipe cleaners! Little fingers threaded, wrapped and twisted their webs into shape, then added beads to bring their spiders to life, each one a little different, just like the child who made it.

Activities like this are wonderful for building fine motor skills as children thread, twist and manipulate small materials, while also giving them the freedom to be creative and craft their spider and web exactly how they imagine it.

Our little learners turned into budding scientists today, mixing baking soda, vinegar and food dye inside our play-doh volcano, and watching in awe as it erupted right before their eyes! Once the excitement settled, our little explorers moved on to their dinosaur world set up in the tough tray, roaring their way through even more imaginative play.

Experiences like this bring early science concepts to life, encouraging our children to observe cause and effect, ask questions and explore their sense of wonder, all while having a whole lot of fun.

Today our little learners went on a mini safari right in their own classroom! Our insect habitat sensory tray was filled with plants, water and hidden toy insects, just waiting to be found. Little fingers dug, searched and squealed with delight every time a "creepy crawly" was uncovered.
