You are invited to join us for a Parent Café at Liverpool Boys High School on Tuesday, 15 September. 9:30 -11:30am

This will be a wonderful opportunity for parents and carers to connect with members of our school community, meet our staff, and learn more about what is happening at the school.

Throughout the session, a number of teachers and staff will be speaking about a range of important and interesting topics, including:

Multicultural Day and how families can get involved
Big Picture – Getting to find out what its about
School bytes – information on how to access and use the school app

Other helpful topics relating to school life, student learning and supporting your child

Come along, enjoy a free coffee and morning tea, and have a relaxed chat with our staff. It is a great opportunity to ask questions, share your ideas and strengthen our partnership between home and school.

During Science Week senior Future Teachers Club students put their teaching skills into action, delivering engaging STEM lessons to students from Gulyangarri Public School ! 🧪🔬

From fun, hands-on experiments to learning about cells, our students showcased their ability to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons while building their confidence as future educators. 👏🍎

Our Future Teachers Club students swapped the classroom for Sydney Zoo for a special Science Week experience! 🐘🔬

After learning from Zoo Education staff, students stepped into the role of teachers themselves, working in pairs to man their own stations and deliver engaging, science-based lessons to visiting primary school students.

Our students did an incredible job engaging with the younger students, building their confidence and putting their teaching skills into practice in a fun, real-world environment.

A fantastic opportunity for our future educators to experience what teaching is all about! 👏🍎

🔬 National Science Week at Our School! 🚀

We’ve had a fantastic time celebrating National Science Week, with plenty of opportunities for our students to explore STEM through hands-on learning and exciting experiences!

Our students had the opportunity to learn about careers in STEM with the RAAF visit and discover where science, technology, engineering and mathematics can take them.

Show Me the Money – Our Year 8 students, with Mr Akkari, explored series and parallel circuits, developing their understanding of electricity through practical learning.

National Science Week is a wonderful opportunity to inspire curiosity, creativity and a love of STEM.
