Al Amanah College Alumni Family Day 2025

On Saturday, October 25, Al Amanah College Alumni hosted its final event for 2025 — a Family Day celebrating graduates and ex-students from 2007 to 2025. The afternoon brought together former students, teachers, and their families for a heartwarming reunion filled with laughter, memories, and community connection.

The event began with inspiring speeches from several guest speakers, who spoke about the importance of staying connected after school and maintaining the lifelong bonds formed at Al Amanah. The Alumni Committee also showcased the various events and initiatives they successfully organised throughout 2025, recognising the teamwork and dedication that continue to strengthen the Al Amanah network.

Following the formalities, graduates and their families enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch while children had fun on the jumping castle and other activities. The day was filled with joy and nostalgia as old friends reconnected and shared stories of their journeys since graduation.

It was a wonderful way to close the year — celebrating the bonds that continue to grow beyond the school gates and reaffirming the sense of unity that defines the Al Amanah College community.

Al Amanah & Salamah College Alumni Iftar 2025: A Growing Legacy

On Tuesday, 18 March 2025, Al Amanah College proudly hosted its second annual Alumni Iftar Dinner, an event that continues to strengthen the bonds between past graduates and the school community. This year was particularly special, as it also welcomed Salamah College alumni, marking another step in uniting both schools through shared experiences and lifelong connections.

The evening began with a warm welcome from MC Douha Bakkour, followed by a beautiful Qur’an recitation by Sheikh Samir Dabliz. Guests were then uplifted by a religious lesson delivered by Sheikh Muhammad Alwan, an Al Amanah graduate, who emphasised the importance of maintaining strong relationships and giving back to the community.

In his address, Alumni Association President, Mr. Hani Skaf (Class of 2010), reflected on the event’s remarkable growth, with attendance increasing to over 350 graduates and guests. He highlighted the efforts of the Alumni Committee in supporting students through career mentorship, mock interviews, and professional networking, and acknowledged the founding head principal, Mr. Mohammad El Dana, and the current principal, Mr. Ayman Alwan, for their dedication in shaping the school’s success.

Representing Salamah College alumni, Zaynab Beirouti (Class of 2022) shared her inspiring journey of overcoming challenges and finding a second home at Salamah College. Her heartfelt speech encouraged graduates to stay engaged and contribute to the future success of their schools.

A key moment of the night was the Alumni Video Presentation, which took attendees on a nostalgic journey through the schools’ history. As the adhan for Maghrib echoed, guests joined in prayer before breaking their fast together, deepening the sense of unity and purpose.

Following dinner, an exciting raffle draw took place, adding a fun and engaging element to the night. Four lucky winners were awarded a $200 gift voucher from Avo Lounge, Brighton- Le-Sands!, a generous contribution that added to the festive atmosphere and spirit of giving.

The second annual Alumni Iftar Dinner was a celebration of growth, gratitude, and giving back. With each passing year, the Al Amanah and Salamah alumni network continues to expand, ensuring that the spirit of education, mentorship, and community service lives on for generations to come.

AAC Alumni First Meeting & Catch Up

On Thursday, 30 January 2025, the Al Amanah College Alumni Committee gathered for dinner as they held their first meeting of the year. It was a fantastic opportunity for committee members to reconnect, reflect on past events, and start planning for the exciting year ahead.

A key focus of the meeting was the upcoming AAC Ramadan Iftar Dinner, a cherished annual event that brings the community together. The committee discussed venue options, sponsorships, and guest speakers to ensure a meaningful and memorable gathering during Ramadan.

Beyond the Iftar Dinner, the team explored various initiatives to strengthen alumni engagement, from networking opportunities to community-driven events. With plenty in store for 2025, the AAC Alumni Committee is dedicated to fostering strong connections and welcoming more alumni to take part.
