I started Bravura because I wanted to create opportunities that would encourage students to challenge themselves and celebrate their progress.

Divisions is one of those opportunities, and it's always wonderful to see the growth that happens along the way.

Bravura offers competition divisions from Preparatory through to Grade 8 AMEB, providing performance opportunities for pianists at every stage of their musical journey.

Whether you’re entering your first competition or performing advanced repertoire, there is a division designed to suit your current level of study.

Many of you know that I'm passionate about creating opportunities for young pianists to grow in confidence and share their music.

Over the past year, I've been working on something very special behind the scenes, and I'm excited to finally share it with you.

Bravura Piano Competition is now open for entries and will welcome young pianists from across NSW to participate in online Regional Heats, live Semi-Finals, and the Grand Finals in the Blue Mountains.

I'm incredibly excited to see this vision become a reality and can't wait to hear the wonderful performances that will be shared throughout the competition.

The Bravura Piano Competition is designed to provide a meaningful performance pathway for developing pianists.

🎹 Regional Heats begin with an online video submission.

🏆 Gold and Silver recipients progress to the Live Semi-Finals.

✨ From the Semi-Finals, a select number of competitors will be invited to perform in the Bravura Grand Finals.

Entries open 15 June 2026.
