Yesterday, Gulyangarri Public School came together to acknowledge National Sorry Day.
National Sorry Day is an opportunity for Australians to reflect on our shared history and acknowledge the hurt and injustice experienced by the Stolen Generations.
We gathered for a special assembly and marked the occasion with a minute of silence in somber reflection. We are proud to stand together in respect, learning, and commitment to reconciliation.

Research shows that children who walk before school perform better. Walking at lunchtime or on the way home also offers significant benefits. On Friday 22 May we will be participating in Walk Safely to School Day, you should too!

So proud of our students, their families and staff who came together this morning under the banner of Gulyangarri Public School to attend the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in Liverpool.
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
