🌿 Bush Kindy Adventures 🌳
During Term 2, our children enjoyed wonderful Bush Kindy experiences and excursions, connecting with nature and learning on Country. The children worked together to create their own tree houses using natural resources, encouraging creativity, teamwork and problem-solving. 🪵🍃
We also spent time slowing down and noticing what we could see, feel and hear on Country — listening to the sounds of nature, feeling different textures and observing the plants, trees and wildlife around us. 🌿👂🖐️
These experiences provided meaningful opportunities for children to build a deeper connection with Country, nature and each other, while learning through exploration, play and discovery. 💚🌏
🌱 NQS Connection: These experiences support Quality Area 3 – Physical Environment, particularly children’s opportunities to connect with and care for the natural environment. They also support Quality Area 1 – Educational Program and Practice, as children learn through hands-on exploration, play, inquiry and responding to their environment.
