It was the last kitchen lesson for the year 6’s and we had a pizza party to celebrate their time in the kitchen garden program. We finished the lesson off with a little sing-along to a song of their choice😊 Apparently Rick Astley lives on strong with this generation! 😂

With an abundance of tomatoes from our school garden we made tomato passata and home made pasta, the students had such fun using the pasta machine🙂
A member of the community donated some Feijoa’s, lots of the students had never tried them before and there was a great debate around how to pronounce the name! We made a Feijoa loaf that was a huge success! Even the staff got to enjoy some with a cuppa at lunchtime 😋

As you all know we are holding our Spring Fair on Friday 21st October and we are looking for a few more stall holders to join our market. This is our major fundraiser for the year and pitches are $20 each, stallholders must supply their own table, have own power supply if needed, and hold their own insurance. The event will be held on the oval but will move inside if bad weather. Stallholders must be set up ready to open for 5pm and commit to staying till 8pm. We have lots happening on the night with a local band playing, market stall, bbq and refreshments, competitions, choirs and dance displays, it’s the event to be at!!!
