During Oberon’s outdoor play, we were lucky enough to see a possum! 🌈
It walked up the path and then scurried up the tree. The possum seemed very curious and was quite scared✨
The children were happy and surprised to see the possum, all watching on from behind the fence 🌿

The children had a wonderful time dancing with colourful ribbons, moving their bodies in creative and expressive ways. As they twirled, waved and spun the ribbons they developed coordination, balance and gross motor skills while exploring movement, rhythm and self expression. It was a joyful experience filled with imagination, confidence and plenty of smiles! 🌈🎀💃🕺

DENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK 🦷🪥
Last week Perthville learnt about dental hygiene! ✨🦷
The Wombat Room children at Oberon became both artists and models as they drew portraits of one another. Looking closely at their friends encouraged observation, concentration and an appreciation of each persons unique features. Portrait drawing also supported fine motor skills, creativity and positive peer connections with children roundly sharing their artwork and celebrating each others efforts. ☺️🎨🖍️
