December 12th, 5:30pm at the Lithgow High School Library. Principal Foty Loupos hosts “Your School, Your Say”, a chance to share your ideas and connect with our school community.

Former LHS student Tallan Egan has signed with the Newcastle Knights after two strong seasons with the Warriors’ SG Ball and Jersey Flegg squads. A talented playmaker, Tallan continues to impress as he takes the next step in his rugby league journey.

Congratulations, Tallan, we look forward to watching your 2026 season. And to Wayde Egan, another former LHS student, we love watching you continue to shine in the NRL.

Knights sign NRL star's brother
The younger brother of Warriors ho**er Wayde Egan has linked with the Newcastle Knights.
Tallan Egan, a rising playmaker, has joined the club for next year's Jersey Flegg Cup season.
Tallan played SG Ball (under 19s) and Jersey Flegg (under 21s) for the Warriors in 2025, but has made the move back across the ditch for 2026.
The brothers both hail from Lithgow in the state's Central West, playing junior footy for the Lithgow Storm and seniors with Lithgow Workies Wolves in Group 10 .
Wayde, who debuted at Penrith in 2018, has played 150 NRL games, the vast majority for the Warriors.
The 28-year-old has established himself as one of the competition's premier ho**ers.
Tallan can play in the halves or at fullback.
He earned his shot at the Warriors after impressing in an open trial.
He spent two years at the Auckland club.

Maldhan Ngurr Ngurra Lithgow Transformation is thrilled to be hosting a public lecture by inspiring ex-Lithgow High student turned eminent plastic pollution scientist Dr Dannielle Green. She will be on a flying visit back home from her base in the UK, where she is an Associate Professor and director of the Applied Ecology Research Group at Anglia Ruskin University, as well as a scientific advisor for UK and EU policy makers. Dr Green has graciously agreed to give a talk in her beloved hometown on her field of research and consultancy: Plastic Pollution: Impacts and Solutions.

LITHGOW HIGH SCHOOL 2021 Musical – Little Shop of Horrors

A fun and poignant tale about the love between a young man and a young woman, and the plant that wants to eat them.
