Congratulations to Alicia Turner & Kobie Jenkins for successfully completing the SOA of Early Childhood Education and Care at TAFE NSW Lithgow Campus last week.

Both students completed the Statement of Attainment whilst still attending Lithgow High School and La Salle Academy as part of the TVET program offered by TAFE NSW to Year 11 & 12 students as part of the HSC. The students attend our campus one day per week.

Students enrol into CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care and receive the Statement of Attainment. They then can enrol into the full qualification when they finish their HSC and complete five units to qualify for the full certificate. This will enable the students to continue their studies in either the Diploma at TAFE NSW or Bachelor of Education (Birth to Five Years) at university (the TAFE Diploma gives the student four units at university).

There is still time for you to join this course in 2027 by contacting your school careers advisor.
