Amazing Addition in Class Pillans!

Students in Pillans have been exploring different strategies to add numbers. This week, we've focused on the split strategy, a mental calculation method where numbers are separated into their place values, such as tens and ones, before being added together. This approach helps students simplify calculations and build their understanding of addition. The Pillans students have made great progress and are becoming more confident in their mathematical skills. Well done, Pillans! We’re excited to see how you continue to grow on your maths journey.

Stage 2 Fortnightly Assembly

Last Friday, Stage 2 celebrated our amazing Safe, Respectful, Responsible Learners and presented some Merit Awards to recognise students who have demonstrated outstanding learning, effort and achievement over the past fortnight. We finished our assembly off with a Gotcha Draw. Well done Stage 2!

ISH Students Know How to Get the Bowl Rolling!

Students from our Inclusive Support Hub had a fantastic opportunity today to take part in a Ten Pin Bowling Competition alongside students from other schools.
Our students showed off their impressive bowling skills, with some even managing to bowl a few spares! Most importantly, they demonstrated wonderful sportsmanship, encouraging and supporting both their own teammates and students from other schools.
It was a fantastic day of fun, friendship, and friendly competition. The results from the competition have been collected, with the overall winner to be announced at a later date.
Well done to all our students for their fantastic effort and sportsmanship!
