50 YEARS OF DEADLY ❤️💛🖤 Just some of the amazing learning experiences we saw throughout NAIDOC week ✨

Today, our Preschool children enjoyed an excursion to Lismore Square, where they participated in a special community initiative to acknowledge ‘Thank a First Responder Day 2026’.

Using a dedicated phone, each child had the opportunity to share a heartfelt message of thanks to the emergency service workers who help keep our community safe. It was a meaningful experience that encouraged gratitude, community connection and an appreciation for those who support us in times of need.

We were incredibly proud of the children, who walked safely and responsibly throughout the excursion, demonstrating excellent road safety awareness and respect for our community.

For many of us in Lismore, the work of first responders holds a special place in our hearts. It was wonderful to see our children take the opportunity to express their thanks and learn about the important role these everyday heroes play in our lives.

3 YEARS ON ❤️

As we commemorate three years since floodwaters swept through our town, a wave of happiness surrounds us. We are home in our beautiful centre. The tears have faded, and now we hear giggles and laughter echoing around us. Once a submerged building, we now grow flowers and strawberries, adorn our walls with artwork, and share in delight as we conquer our fears and embark on new learning adventures. Scars may linger, but our hearts are filled with the joy your children bring us each day.
Thank you for your patience during our rebuilding process and for allowing us to engage in what we love — contributing to your child's early education.

We have our Graduation Party and Christmas Party happening from 4pm this afternoon!

There will be lots of activities for your children to enjoy, fresh fruit platters from The Smashed Avo Produce Market, icy poles and then a special appearence from Santa at approximately 5:30pm.

You are more than welcome to bring a picnic rug to make yourself comfortable! ❤️

For Halloween, our centre hosted a pumpkin decorating challenge for educators and children. We had a lot of fun doing this!

Families were invited to cast their votes on their favourite decorated pumpkins.
The winners were:
1st place: 'Cookie Monster' - Preschool Room
2nd place: 'Ratatouille' - Front Office
3rd place: 'The Cat and Rat' - Preschool Room"
