NAIDOC Day celebrations

Last week, a group of our Stage 2 and Stage 3 students had the exciting opportunity to attend the Future Writers Festival in Lismore.

Throughout the day, students participated in engaging workshops, met talented authors and illustrators, and explored the creative world of writing and storytelling. It was a fantastic experience that inspired imagination, creativity and a love of literacy.

We are so proud of the way our students represented Lismore Public School with enthusiasm, curiosity and outstanding behaviour. Well done, everyone! 📚✏️🌟

What a snuggly and fun-filled day! Thank you to all the students for getting involved with our Pyjama and Oodie SRC Day last Friday. Also, a massive thanks to the families for making it happen! We loved seeing everyone rugged up for a beautiful winter day. Here are some photos to enjoy.

Recently, we were fortunate to welcome the team from Dorroughby Environmental Education Centre to LPS for a series of engaging environmental workshops.

Our students thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on learning experiences and were inspired to explore the natural world around them. The workshops provided valuable opportunities to learn about sustainability, local ecosystems, and the importance of caring for our environment in fun and interactive ways.

A huge thank you to the educators from Dorroughby Environmental Education Centre for sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm with our students. We loved having you at LPS and look forward to future learning opportunities together!

⚽️ Soccer Gala Day update ⚽️
Lismore Heights have contacted Mr Platt this morning, there will be a slight change to the gala day today. Boys and Girls will only play one game so as to not impact the fields. Same starting time, but finish time will be earlier than expected.

Venue change- PSSA Girls Touch Football scheduled for tomorrow will now be at Woodburn. If your child is in the touch football team please check schoolbytes for the full details of the venue change.

Unfortunately soccer will be cancelled tomorrow as Dunoon soccer fields are still closed.
