Happy Early Childhood Educators Day!

Today we honour our Educators who work tirelessly to provide quality care and education for our next generation.

We asked a number of children to describe their Educators roles and we recieved various responses:

' help me learn'
'Make our flowers grow'
'Hold my hand'

Among many more responses!

Join us today in thanking our wonderful team for the various hats they wear with such heart!

✨ A little project with a big impact! ✨

Over the school holidays, our outdoor toy shed was transformed into a bigger, brighter and more organised space for our resources.

Children freely access the shed each day, independently choosing materials that inspire their play, extend their learning and encourage creativity, problem-solving and collaboration. By making resources accessible and inviting, we’re supporting children’s agency and creating rich learning opportunities in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard.

It’s often these behind-the-scenes improvements that make the biggest difference in maintaining the high-quality, Exceeding learning environment we’re so proud of. 💚

Today we celebrate the many people who nurture, guide, support and love the children in our community. 💐

To all the mums, grandmothers, stepmums, foster and adoptive mums, aunties, carers and mother figures - thank you for the care, kindness and strength you share each day.

We also hold close those missing loved ones, longing to be mothers, or finding today difficult.

Wishing our whole preschool community Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Goonellabah Preschool 🌸

Nothing says Happy Friday better than a visit from our very own native wildlife right here in our backyard at Goonellabah Preschool!
Our children were suitably inspired with this experience this afternoon.
