Today, Albert Park Public School had a combined celebration of Education Week, Booke Week and Science Week. This included displays of the students' STEM projects from the first half of this year. What a wonderful showcase of public eduction.

In Week 9 of Term 1, we held our first Young Women in STEM workshop for 2026 at Southern Cross University. Students from The Rivers Secondary College, The Rivers Secondary College Lismore High Campus, The Rivers Secondary College Kadina High Campus and The Rivers Secondary College Richmond River High Campus worked in the fluid dynamics laboratory to calculate flow rates in a flume, investigate the workings of V-notches in channels and experiment with engineering strategies to manage erosion caused by water flow.
