Lindisfarne Primary School is located in a beautiful, spacious setting which provides a natural environment in which children can learn, play, grow and realise their potential. Major development of the grounds has provided a range of active and passive play areas for all ages. The size of our school, about 370 students, allows us to maintain a family atmosphere, while aiming to provide the best ra

nge of resources and services. We function as one school, from Kindergarten to Grade 6 and aim to provide a challenging, interesting and a play based learning environment where children can learn and grow together. Children have the opportunity for quality learning and the achievement of personal excellence. Special programs are offered in Japanese, Kitchen Garden and Music. Staff provide a caring and supportive environment where all members of the school community are valued. The partnership that teachers share with parents in the education of their children is seen as vital.

Sarah was one of the parents who nominated Lindisfarne Primary for 7hofm School of the Year — and hearing her daughter read the words she wrote about our school is a beautiful example of what this competition gives us a chance to celebrate.

For us, School of the Year is about recognising the incredible, often unseen and immeasurably valuable work that schools, teachers and staff do every day in the lives of children.

It’s about the people who nurture, encourage, challenge, support and believe in our kids — and the lasting impact that can have on a child and their family.
