Today, our students enjoyed a range of hands-on activities to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival. Through our Community Language and LOTE programs, they learned about the festival’s traditions, stories, and cultural significance.

✨💃 Our Junior and Senior Dance Groups had a big day yesterday! 🕺✨

They took part in their dress rehearsal for the Sydney North Dance Festival 🎭 and looked fantastic in their costumes, with the stage lighting bringing their performances of 'Little Red' and 'Out of the Blue' to life. 🌟

In the evening, they also performed in front of a live audience for the very first time 👏🎉 and absolutely shone on stage. We are so proud of the confidence, commitment and enthusiasm they showed throughout the day. ❤️

Congratulations to our amazing dancers! 🌟🏆 Best of luck for the rest of your upcoming performances—we can't wait to see you continue to shine! ✨💙

The student who always comes to mind when we think of the Ku-ring-gai Council Wild with Words Poetry Competition has done it again! 🎉 This year, Annabel L (now in Year 7 Killara High School) was not only Highly Commended (a title she has consistently earned over the years) but has also been awarded the prestigious Year 7 Custodianship Award! 🏆📚
