Whether she’s supporting our amazing team 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫, offering care and guidance to families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, or creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and encouraged 🧸🌈, Katrina makes everyone feel truly seen and supported!! 💫

We love what she brings to our service every day 🌸✨, and we’re so grateful that she continues to lead and serve with such passion and care into the future 🌟💛. What an awesome few busy weeks the children at Lakeview have had! 🌟

They were absolutely buzzing with excitement as they celebrated a special Visitors Day 🧑‍🤝‍🧑, welcomed some very special chicken eggs 🥚, the children watched in amazement as the chicks hatched right before their eyes! 🐣🐥
The excitement in the room was contagious — full of smiles, giggles, and wide eyes as the children witnessed the miracle of life up close. 😲😁

Even more exciting, some lucky children were able to take a chick home and continue the learning and care at home! 🏡🐤 What a wonderful way to build responsibility and connection with nature. 💛

What an egg-citing experience for everyone involved! 🐔🎉

❤️ Red Nose Day at Lakeview ❤️

Today, our Lakeview community came together in a sea of red to support Red Nose Day — and what a beautiful day it was!!

With bright red outfits, big smiles, and generous hearts, we united to raise awareness and funds for a cause close to many. It was truly heartwarming to see our families and educators join together in support.

The children especially loved celebrating with a fun-filled dance party — laughter, music, and joyful movement echoed through our space. 💃🕺

A special shoutout to Katrina, Christy, and Karen, who have been walking 3km every day to raise awareness and show their ongoing support. Their dedication and effort is truly a reflection of the heart our Lakeview community has!

Science Week 🧬🔭🥼🧪

What a success Science Week has been at Lakeview! The children enjoyed exploring lots of exciting experiments. From mixing colours and making things fizz, to watching objects float and sink, their curiosity and excitement was wonderful to see.

Science is a wonderful way for young children to explore the world around them. It encourages them to ask questions, try new things, and think about what might happen next. Through play and discovery, they build confidence and develop a love of learning!

Most of all, science makes learning fun and that’s how the best learning happens!

🦷 Learning about dental health at Lakeview this week!

This week at Lakeview, the Kinder children have been exploring oral health in connection with Dental Health Week (4–10 August).

A favourite activity has been our make believe dental clinic, complete with real dental X-rays, a computer setup, model teeth, and child-friendly dental instruments. Through role play, the children took turns being both the dentist and the patient, learning about brushing, healthy food choices, and what to expect at a dental visit. 🪥🦷😁🍎

These experiences are linked to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), supporting learning through play while encouraging communication, cooperation, and an understanding of personal health and wellbeing.

It is Harmony day tomorrow 🧡

The 2025 theme for harmony day is,
Everyone belongs.

We are encouraging all the children to come wearing a splash of orange. This could be socks, scrunchies, ribbons, ANYTHING orange ☺️

The orange symbolises social communication and meaningful conversations.

The kinder children were very excited that recycle man came to visit them today.

The show was a very engaging lesson teaching the children about the importance of sustainability, recycling and environmental awareness ♻️

Recycle man is back ♻️ !!
He will be visiting the kinder children this Thursday the 20th of March. Please make sure your child/children arrive by 9.15am for a 9.30am start. Thankyou!

UPDATE; Mini Maestros has now moved to Thursday mornings 🎶

Tiny tots will be 9.30am-10am and
Kinders will be 10am-10.45am
