Learning and understanding sit at the heart of reconciliation.

The dates for National Reconciliation Week are the same every year. From 27 May to 3 June, we reflect on important moments in Australia’s history, like the 1967 Referendum and the Mabo decision. Both were significant milestones in addressing inequality for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year’s theme, All In, reminds us that reconciliation is ongoing and it’s a responsibility shared by us all.

Great things are happening behind the scenes to strengthen learning at Cire Community School.

Our staff recently took part in a professional development session with Cire’s Digital Learning Designer, Daniel Borbely, focused on refining the way technology supports everyday teaching.

Our educators already bring strong capability into the classroom. Opportunities like this help streamline systems, enhance consistency and ensure they have the right tools in place to support students in the best possible way.

ANZAC Day invites us to remember not only those who served, but the families and communities whose lives have been changed forever.

Taking time to reflect and listen shows support for each other and is just as important today as it ever has been. We acknowledge our history and how it has shaped our world.

Lest we forget.
