Todays Family Learning Hub Idea for families to explore at home.

Dear Families,

At Lilydale Lakeside Children’s Centre, we recognize that families are the primary influence on a child's education and wellbeing. We understand that it can be challenging to find ways to extend your child’s learning, especially when time is limited, or little ones are demanding attention. To support you in this journey, we are excited to introduce our Family Learning Hub, designed to inspire families to engage in meaningful learning experiences at home. Each week, we will share a simple, actionable idea that you can easily implement with your child.

This initiative aligns with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), which emphasizes the importance of family involvement in early learning. By collaborating with families, we aim to enhance your child’s educational journey and foster a love for learning in a nurturing environment. Together, we can create enriching experiences that support your child's development both at the centre and at home.

To kick off this program, we will initially share a learning idea every day. After this launch period, we will transition to sending out a new idea for the Family Learning Hub once a week. Stay tuned for some wonderful experiences to enjoy with your children!
