πβ¨ STAGE 3 CULTURAL EXPLORATION β¨π
What an incredible celebration of culture, learning and diversity in Stage 3! π
Over the past few weeks, our students have been working hard on their Cultural Exploration Projects, taking a deep dive into a country of their choice. Students explored everything from geography, history and landmarks to traditions, celebrations, food, daily life and interesting cultural practices.
On Monday, our classrooms were transformed into a trip around the world! πβοΈ Every student proudly created a display to showcase their learning, with an amazing variety of posters, artefacts, traditional items, toys, clothing, flags, spices and interactive elements.
And of courseβ¦ there was plenty of food! π€©ππ‘π§π₯
We were treated to guacamole and chips, breads and cheeses, aromatic spices, mochi, seaweed, pizza, biscuits and so many other foods representing cultures from across the globe.
The displays were simply too good to pack away after just one day, so we decided they deserved an even bigger audience! On Tuesday morning, we invited our Stage 3 parents and carers into the classrooms to wander through the displays, see the incredible work for themselves and celebrate everything our students had achieved. π
What impressed us most was the depth of research, creativity and effort that went into every single project. Students werenβt just sharing facts β they were able to speak confidently about their chosen country and explain what makes its culture unique.
A huge congratulations to every Stage 3 student. The pride you showed in your work was wonderful to see, and our classrooms were absolutely buzzing as students and families explored the displays, sampled new foods and learned about countries from all around the world. πβ¨
We are incredibly proud of the effort you put into bringing your Cultural Exploration Projects to life! ππ
