Get the family together and join us for the Berala Public School P&C Film Festival on Friday 11 September!🌟

✨ 4:30–5:30pm— Food, event stalls & showbags
🎬 5:45–7:30pm— Lights down… movie time! 🍿

What an incredible celebration of stories, imagination and the joy of reading! 💙💛

Our school was buzzing with excitement as our students brought their favourite books and characters to life for Book Week 2026. From spectacular costumes and creative characters to engaging activities and shared stories, there was something for every reader to enjoy!

📖 At Berala Public School, we know that reading opens doors — to new worlds, new ideas, curiosity, creativity and endless possibilities.

A huge thank you to our incredible teachers, staff and families for helping make Book Week such a special celebration of learning and literacy. And to our students — your enthusiasm, creativity and love of books made the week truly unforgettable! 🌟

🌟 LEADING THE WAY AT BERALA 🌟

What a wonderful morning celebrating our Term 2 and Term 3 Lead Learners at our Lead Learner Morning Tea with Mrs White, our Principal. 💙💛

Our Term 2 Lead Learners proudly passed the leadership responsibility on to our new Term 3 Lead Learners, who are now ready to step forward, lead by example and make a positive difference across our school.

Being a Lead Learner is about more than wearing a badge — it is about demonstrating responsibility, showing initiative, supporting others and being a positive role model for our school community. 🌟

At Berala Public School, we believe in creating meaningful opportunities for every student to develop confidence, leadership and a strong sense of belonging. We are proud to nurture young people who are ready to lead, contribute and inspire excellence in others.

We couldn’t be prouder of our Berala Public School students and their outstanding academic achievements.

Our 2027 Selective High School results are a powerful reflection of the high expectations, exceptional teaching and culture of learning that exists across our school. 💙💛

Of our 22 students who applied, an incredible 9 received offers to selective high schools, with a further 5 students placed on reserve lists.
That means 14 of our 22 applicants — 63.6% — achieved an offer or reserve placement. 🌟
But behind every result is years of hard work, quality teaching, persistence, challenge and belief.

At Berala Public School, academic excellence is built every day. From Kindergarten to Year 6, our teachers create learning environments where students are challenged to think deeply, encouraged to aim high and supported to achieve their potential.

🔬⚡ SCIENCE WEEK AT BERALA! ⚡🔬

Science Week brought an extra buzz of excitement to Berala PS! 🧪✨ Every class got involved in fun, hands-on experiments, exploring, investigating, predicting and discovering through science.

From curious questions to exciting results, our school was absolutely electric with energy! ⚡️ It was fantastic to see our students so engaged, enthusiastic and eager to find out what would happen next.

A huge thank you to our incredible teachers for creating such engaging learning experiences and making science come alive in our classrooms. 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

🎭 K–3 BOOK WEEK PARADE

Our K–3 students are invited to come dressed as their favourite book character and bring the book that matches their character along to the parade! 📚✨

🎨 BE CREATIVE!
We can’t wait to see the incredible characters and costumes our students bring to life! 🌟

📖 YEARS 4–6 BOOK WEEK ACTIVITY

Students in Years 4–6 are also invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character! 🎭📚

Throughout the day, students will take part in fun and engaging Book Week activities in their classrooms, celebrating stories, creativity and the power of reading. ✨

🐝🤖 BEE-BOT CHALLENGE! 🤖🐝

Our Year 2 mathematicians have been putting their problem-solving skills to the test during our lunchtime program! 🧠✨

Students have been working together to plan, problem-solve and write programs for our Bee-Bots, carefully thinking about each step to make sure their Bee-Bot reaches the finish line! 🐝➡️🏁

There’s plenty of teamwork, trial and error, coding, mathematical thinking and — of course — lots of excitement along the way! 🙌💙

We love seeing our students thinking, collaborating and having fun with mathematics! 🌟
